I see the sig trend, I hear the mutterings of its faithful. Convince me to watch this show and become a fan, so that I may join this sig trend and banish my passe sig forever.

Perhaps. Although you've apparently abandoned the signature club. I'm taking you off the mailing list.
Also, your new sig rocks andi.

I'm not gonna lie, a certain amount of my individuality felt a little dead with everyone using them, but also I change my sig about every week (with exception to certain holiday sigs). I'll have another when I get a good idea (Or lack thereof).

You mean you realized that you weren't nearly cool enough to run with the big dawgs, right?

Very well, where do I begin? The Venture Brothers is, at its most basic a farce. It centers around a genius scientist -- only he's a pill-popping complete failure who lives off the accomplishments of his dead father. His main nemesis, the Monarch, is a tight-suit wearing effeminate half-wit whose entire operation is funded by a trust-fund left by his parents. His number two and confidant is an attractive Jackie Onassis type aptly named Dr. Girlfriend, who likely has the deepest voice of any character featured in the series.
All of the fighting and destruction that goes on in the series is justified and explained by the existence of the Guild of Calamitous Intent, an organization that could be likened to a Union for Superheroes and Supervillians. It also serves to enforce the set of guidelines by which all parties must conform to.
There's a good start.

If you live in the U.S, click here, spend the $20 on Season 1. It's well worth it.

Just imagine if everyone actually used the same sig. That'd be hilariously confusing.

Hey, at least my sig links to an enormous desktop-quality picture.
The show is fantastic. If you've ever wondered about the humdrum lives of superheroes and supervillians you will love this show.

The wiki does a pretty good job of explaining it:
The Venture Bros. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Venture Bros. is an American animated television series airing as part of Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Notable for its strong continuity, complex characters and unexpected plot twists, it chronicles the adventures of two dopey teenage boys, Hank and Dean Venture; their super-scientist father, Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture; and their family's bodyguard, secret agent Brock Samson.
The series pays homage to the style of the classic Hanna-Barbera action series Jonny Quest. Hank and Dean's roles resemble those of Jonny and Hadji, Dr. Venture is a caricature of Dr. Benton Quest, and Brock Samson presents a testosterone-loaded, excessively violent take on Race Bannon, who has appeared in the show. Flashbacks show that Dr. Venture himself was a "boy adventurer" in his youth, and his own father the original Dr. Venture, is much akin to classic pulp hero Doc Savage. The show is known for its parodies, including The Hardy Boys mysteries, the Fantastic Four comic book characters, the Scooby Doo television show, and many others.
Publick and Hammer have stated that one of the primary themes of The Venture Bros. is failure.
"Yeah failure, that's what Venture Bros. is all about. Beautiful sublime failure." -Doc Hammer[5]
In the commentary for the episode "Home Insecurity" Hammer and Publick elaborated on the theme.
Publick: "This show... If you'll permit me to get 'big picture,' This show is actually all about failure. Even in the design, everything is supposed to be kinda the death of the space-age dream world. The death of the jet-age promises."
Hammer: "It's about the beauty of failure. It's about that failure happens to all of us..." "Every character is not only flawed, but sucks at what they do, and is beautiful at it and Jackson and I suck at what we do, and we try to be beautiful at it, and failure is how you get by." "It shows that failures funny, and it's beautiful and it's life, and it's okay, and it's all we can write because we are big ****ing failures. (laughter)"[5]
Additionally, in a conversation between Dr. Impossible and Dr. Venture, Impossible--after telling Venture how little he thought of his super-scientist abilities when they were in school together--goes on to say "I somehow doubt that 20 years of amphetamines and failure have changed you."

Honestly, I tried to watch an episode and found it intolerable. Perhaps it was a bad episode (though I imagine it was the first, not a random one). Must just be me.
I'll stick to Sealab I think.

It starts off slow. I started watching it when everyone here was talking about it, and I didn't like it at first, but eventually it caught on.

Just catching up on Jackson Publicks blog and June? Ugh!
I also didn't like it at first. It took a few episodes to hook me.

Sucks that Stephen Colbert isn't onboard anymore.

I love the episode where you find out about the crazy woman that used to be Rusty's old bodyguard. There's a scene of her kicking the crap out of the Monarch only he's wearing his old (and much gayer) costume. Hilarious!

The first episode is pretty meh. Don't give up on it though, it really takes off as season 1 progresses. The arc of the last few episodes of season 1 and then the payoff in season 2 is some of my all time favourite television.
