That is Cora Schumacher, and having seen Cora and Connie (Montoya) some years ago, Connie is better looking and friendlier than Cora is.

so what's the point of this thread? declaring that an ex formula 1 ace is now racing DTM or is it just some newbie showing off that he lives near someone that we all know?

Who is it we’re all supposed to know, then?

I know Kim Schumacher, but Rolf Schumacher? Hmmm, nope.

The newbie uses to post on car related threads and she has indeed a good knowledge about it. So to anyone liking cars and true racing car competition -nascar doesn't fit there- this is 'news'. Since I don't like DTM that much I had no idea Ralf got such a deal and to know about it from NN boards is kind of cool, I don't think leftlane is gonna echo this

<Ralf != F1 ace> even when his salary would say another thing… he had a 'Schumacher salary' that's for sure, but 'ace'? come on… they call it Half Schumacher for a reason.

i was pretty much going on the fact that i know hardly any of the f1 drivers, yet i know ralf, therefore he must be somewhat capable.

The reason you know Ralf is because of his brother, Michael Schumacher.

You have said it very well angelmb. Thank you very much. I understand that overseas Ralf Schumacher, be called Half, miniSchumi and others appellatives .. is not well know because the guy almost didn’t achieve a dam thing in F1 racing despite his unmatched pedigree. So for most of Americans is a strange. That is OK for me. And that was the point of this topic, to discuss the ‘active retirement’ options of Ralf, (somewhat derailed with the picts of Cora) He could be testing the DTM but he can end hibernating this season I think.

Now that you talked about leftlane, I have found an assertion there that sickened me, it was wrote that ‘Honda builds most of F1 engines’ Well, for the not worthy form of live writing that (don’t take this seriously!) he is totally wrong and shows up a total lack of knowledge of FIA F1 body rules. An engine constructor, as is, cannot build ‘most of F1 engines’. Honda can build as many engines as the government rules allows it to do: engines for itself and engines for one customer team. In this case, it builds its own engines and builds engines for Super Aguri as customer team or Honda B team more correctly. So definitively not most of F1 engines!

Nowadays the engines on the F1 grid are allotted in this way:
BMW : builds its own engines (2)
Honda: builds its own engines and customer team (4)
Ferrari: builds its own engines and TWO customer teams! (6) against the rules! (*)
Mercedes-Benz: builds its own engines (2)
Renault: builds its own engines and customer team (4)
Toyota: builds its own engines and customer team (4)

(*) I can give further discussion if needed.

Bye.

ohmygosh!! * that's incrediblely embarrasing to say the least… if you don't know a damn thing about a particular issue, 'try' forgoshsake to shut up or at least to avoid talking about it as if you were an autorithy, cause a good listener is not only popular everywhere, but after a while he gets to know something, you know ??

* leftlane folks: 'ohmygosh' & 'forgoshsake' are not related to Renault's Carlos Gosh

BTW for starters, this is Connie Montoya, rumor has it this was the instant when Juan Pablo told her he’d prefer to drive NASCAR

I fondly remember reading something in the Italian press about ‘Schumacher’ being an honorific rather than a surname, and therefore Ralf not deserving the name, in the first place.

The guy should have retired for good, I really do not see the point of him driving any form of car whatsoever, all he's bound to do is continue with his previous M.O., i.e. crash into the decent drivers' cars and screw up the race for everyone else.
