Let's start throwing out ideas for some equally bad titles.

I submit Facsimile of Pleasure

Edit: I've always been partial to "The World is not Enough"
OHMSS was by far the worst title of the old ones.

Live and Let Die was a great title.

Quantum of loneliness, are you serious?

I think Craig is the best Bond yet, and Connery would be second (used to be the best).

And he's a heckuva nice guy too. I met him during a shoot in Miami.

edit: not to imply that he is the best Bond - Sean Connery is the one and only Bond to me.

Craig is a good actor, but he doesn't seem like Bond and the last movie didn't feel like a Bond movie to me. Now the title isn't even Bondish. (sigh)

Casino Royale: Good movie. Bond movie: (Certainly not)

It didn't have a lot of silliness that most previous movies had, but I think that helped. And the opening assassination was nice.

well, if quantum of solace came from fleming, it has credibility... but it's going to make most people run to a dictionary.

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

I'm pretty sure they have already made all of the Fleming books into Bond films. Everything from here on out is non-Fleming.

The franchise died when Dalton (the best Bond ever) left and the game show host took over.

Rather, after The Living Daylights. That second movie needs to remain forgotten.

The books, yes. The titles, no.

Quantum of Solace was the title of a James Bond short story written by Fleming.

The book For Your Eyes Only was a book of short stories. When they ran out of major books, they started using the short story titles, and combining elements from different short stories into films.

If they want to use more titles that directly come from titles Fleming used, they still have the following to choose from:

"Risico"
"The Hildebrand Rarity"
"The Property of a Lady"

and

"007 in New York"

Maybe they can get Jackie Chan to co-star in 007 in New York.

I was waiting for someone to post XKCD. I think he has a comic appropriate for every occasion.

No, they're just repeating plots. Fleming's widow required that Bond movies only be based off of the books. So, naturally, every Bond film is about a bomb, an underwater bomb, a train, a bomb on a train, a Russian, a Russian bomb on an underwater train, and/or a casino.

You forgot about the bomb on the space-station.

I didn't know that, but one day it struck me that Die Another Day was basically Diamonds are Forever with a different villian and goal.

Edit: okay, that doesn't sound that similar, but seriously, it revolves around a satellite made from illegal diamonds.
