Turn on the news. It's a damn good size fire at the top of the hotel. Looks like it spread down about 4 or 5 floors on one wing of the building.

Hopefully it can get put out soon, or it could go the way of the old MGM Grand.

We have stayed at the Monte Carlo. Ended up with some very good luck on the Bacarat table. Also saw Lance Burton a couple times there. The pool is nice, but in an unfortunate location on the northwest side of the property.

The Monte Carlo isn't an old, cheap casino. It may not be brand new, and it is middle of the road when it comes to show prices and room rates, but it is still a nice place in the middle of the strip.

You want old and cheap, let's talk about the Imperial Palace, Circus Circus, and the Tropicana.

The only hotel I can stay at is the Venetian. They have the really high-vaulted ceilings with plenty of ventilation, you don't feel like you've just wandered into The Mist.
