Saw this earlier tonight, the visuals are amazing. You get a ton of different perspectives, you even see people in front of you with girls sitting on guys shoulders. The show was filmed in buenos aries must have been 100,000 fans there, you see a ton of camera phones and cameras taking pics, and you get some great top down visuals of Larry Mullen jamming on the drums. Good set list, kinda short though only about 90 mins. I definitely recommend it for any U2 even a casual one.

The website u23dmovie.com claims that the technology used, 3ality, is a quantum leap from today's 3D displaying technology (polarized glasses). Can you elaborate on that?

it uses the standard imax 3d glasses, the 3d isn't any different than other imax 3d movies. I think what is different is that this is the firs live concert shot in 3d. It's pretty amazing though. You really feel like you are at the concert.

So, technologically it is identical to the Hanna Montana 3D concert.

If only U2 could be put in 1D... perhaps if they were be thrown in a black hole singularity -- one can always hope

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I saw a nice trailer for U23D when I went to see Beowulf in 3D.

Looked prettty frickin' impressive. Even if I haven't liked a U2 album since like, Joshua Tree.

I'm in complete agreement here. What annoys me is that they've reached the point where all the good they made is now severely outweighed by the manure they've made since Joshua Tree.

Sad really.
