Used to be a real forum whore. Not so much anymore.

– MacNN
– Sigur Rós message board
– Lifeboat
– AppleTalker
– Translators’ Café (occasionally)

That’s about it, really.

I used to participate in many forums, but it just takes too much time. I've stuck with MacNN because I like the quality and diversity of people. I do still participate in a local/regional forum, but it tends to get my blood pressure up. I will not post a link as it is embarrassing.

I sometimes still lurk at Forums: Digital Photography Review

Would you all post links to the forums you list? I'd like to take a look.

Just a couple of others. A tiny, nearly comatose gaming one and another Mac one.

And occasionally a couple of groups on usenet.

Rarely, but sometimes.

Most artists have their own message boards. I used to be a frequent poster on those of Tori Amos, Björk, Enya, Clannad, Under Byen, Gåte, and some others, too.

MacNN is the only forum I visit, unless Digg counts

I have posted sometimes on AppleInsider and Macrumors.

• This one.
• One for my router (very helpful folks helping idiots like me with the firewall rules (they're hand-typed, not point and click)).

I used to go to:

• A guitar one, but got banned for arguing against the smoking ban with a moderator who was a proper anti-smoking fascist. I think I told him he was a pansy with no rock and roll in him or something. Turned out he was a bit of a pansy with no rock and roll in him, so he banned me.
• A Ferrari one. A bit too fanboyish.
• A Jeep one, which I forgot about and now can't find again.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

This exact question was just asked yesterday at another forum I visit regularly.
I spend most of my time here, but I also visit slickdeals.net, arstechnica, and the apple boards.

40kforums- Because I play (and love) Warhammer 40K.

School forums. (Won't bother posting a link- only members of the school can see it.)

ToTheGame- Because the gaming forum at MacNN isn't that popular.
I'm on MacNN forums, but no longer have a Mac...

I frequented a zen forum for a while, but I tired of all their enlightened assholeness.

So now I just depend on my own.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

I visit a couple of pagan forums.
"Altruism is killing America. We who want to save America must repudiate this killer, root and branch. We must understand and explain to others that the acceptance of altruism necessitates the violation of individual rights... and that the arguments for altruism are baseless..."

None, basically. Formerly AppleInsider, but I seldom go in modern times unless I'm looking for rumor info. Kind of sad from a certain perspective, but I spend too much time here so I guess it would be dangerous to invest heavily in other forums.

I'm a regular at 7chan, bookchan, kuro5hin, DigitalSpy, and my own little board, the latter being almost completely dead, though.
