I called it at 9:56. I guess that means that Jack knows Claire is his half-sister.
That may support my theory that Christian is Jacob or involved with him.

Woah... it finally clicked!
I heard the name and thought it sounded familiar. Why the hell does Kate have Claire's baby?
I missed what made you think that Jack knows about his relationship to Claire.

Kate said, "I know why you don't want to come see us" or something to that effect. I'm guessing the relationship comes out, Claire dies, and Jack can't bring himself to be around the baby.

Jack doesn't want to see Aaron because he feels guilty for taking him from Claire.

Kate is living in a nice house. Anybody think she might be with Ben? He has a history of taking and raising kids that aren't his.

Its been said a couple of times that all the 'Oceanic 6' got massive settlements from the airline. As in they never have to worry about money again.

Yeah, good point. I still think she might be with Ben. That would be just too creepy. And taking Aaron to raise would be his style. Kate could be their to protect Aaron.

There is the idea that Jack might have played a part in what happened to Claire, causing Kate to adopt Aaron, and that's why Jack can't bring himself to see Aaron. Adding the fact that he might find out, after what happens to Claire, that she is his half-sister.

Desmond's last vision of Charlie shutting down the radio jammer also saw Claire and Aaron both getting on a helicopter. So far, his visions have been spot on. If that's true, either something happens off island to Claire, or maybe even more weird, Claire is one of the six and followed through with her original plan to give up her baby. (very unlikely)
I think there was a clue (beyond just setting up the mind twist at the end) in the way Kate would not pick up Aaron when Claire asked her to.
I'm still predicting Kate is now with Ben. *shiver

But, IIRC, we never saw Desmond's vision of Claire and Aaron getting into the helicopter. We've seen his other visions, so perhaps he was just lying because he knew that was the only way to get Charlie to sacrifice himself. Maybe the actual scene he saw was he and Sayid getting into the helicopter.

That's what helped me figure it out.

She can be "with" him without being with him. I have a feeling Ben has something over some or all of the Ocean Six. He was always on my list of people who could be in the coffin, but now I think he may be the frontrunner.
Another theory I have is that Desmond wasn't the only person who was sent back in time (in some way) when he turned that key in the hatch. That would explain the Dharma polar bear remains in Tunisia. It might also mean that the dead kid with the heroin could be a time-lost Mr. Eko.

You mean in Faraday's diary at the end of the episode?
"If anything goes wrong, Desmond Hume will be my constant."

Wow. Sucks to be Desmond. He's had more mind fcsks than anyone else on the show. Thats for sure.
Though he could also be off the island. He wasn't on the plane, so he wouldn't be part of the 6.

Thanks Teronzhul!
Yeah, poor Des, he has become by far the most interesting character. Followed by Ben. Then Sayid. Then Locke. Oddly, the women characters are just not that interesting anymore, not even Kate.

Thank god the producers have told us that this show will end. If they didn't commit to that, I'd probably stop watching. Feels like we are finally getting some answers.

Never thought of that.

The time travel plot line was cool, but I was disappointed with the whole business about "you need a constant because every equation must have a constant" explanation. Wha?
|

I've always been a rodent and rabbit hunter. Small varmints, if you will. I began when I was 15 or so and I have hunted those kinds of varmints since then. More than two times.

Don't try to make since of this show...you'll ruin the experience!
But I agree, that was one of the sillier bits.
