Ok, so starting last night Mail gave me the error message that it couldn't find mail.mac.com... I went to mac.com and the web email was working fine. For some reason, all last night going to Apple wouldn't work either, it gave me a server-time out message.

Well, about 20 hours later, Apple is still not loading on my computer, Mail app still can't get my email, and now Apple - .Mac isn't loading either. My mail is still coming through on my iPhone, which is weird because I guess that means the servers and stuff are still working.

Is anyone else having a problem with any of this, or should I check my whole set-up and see if something's wrong on my end?

Both of your links are working fine this side of the pond.

I had trouble reaching MacNN for a while last night, though.

Some areas in the States have been having some *nasty* weather - possible power outages or line downage affecting various servers, relays, DNS, and bits and pieces of the web?

Hmm... Ok well thanks for the help... Now I just have to figure out what the heck's going on here. You're probably right about the weather thing... I also had problems with MacNN this morning, but then that started working fine but apple/.mac still isn't. I really wouldn't care if apple.com was down, but it's annoying having to do email from my phone (on stupid EDGE, thanks to lack of 802.1X support!!!) all day long.

Thanks again.
