All the US networks block non domestic ip addresses from viewing content.

Is there a way to get round this, and while torrenting the shows would obvioulsy be illegal and therefore not a fit subject for this forum, would spoofing a US ip address to watch US shows also be illegal?

No, spoof away!

I'd rather torrent them. Easier, better quality, faster, more reliable and... a number of other things.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Just curious, why watch American news? Are you an American, or just interested in what goes on over here?

Or how about a really weird (or stupid) game: Nesen Probe, it's also free.

Not news, shows.

We have the BBC to tell us what's really happening around the world.

I could obviously never endorse the heinous crime of torrenting shows. So I won't.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

In the US there is no clear distinction made between the two. Just look at the network news in the US.

Although circumventing their region-based access protections is possible, it would be copyright infringement. The owner of the material may have a different authorized distributor in your country or choose not to distribute there.
