Hello,

I went to best buy and got me a floopy drive, except it isn't working. I wonder if the sales guy sold me the wrong thing, because on the box it says it is a CD drive and the slot is to big for a floopy disk.

To make sure, I put a floopy disk in there because I wanted to copy AOL for a friend of mine, because AOL is really fast on my Mac Book. Anyway I think I copied AOL but now I can't get the floopy disk out of my floopy drive. It is stuck really badly. Yesterday in another thread I tried to put my floopy disk into my Mac Book but it got stuck there too. I finally got it out though lol!

I've been using computers probably longer than everybody else here combined. My problem is that I'm new to the MAC this is much easier for me in Windows. Thx for your help tho!

Floopys are great, but if a floopy gets stuck you need a defloopinator... or a defibrillator. I get confused which is which.

Dude..., Butthawk..., just go to the Apple site, click on Downloads and search for AOL. There was a new AOL beta version for Mac (not MAC) posted on 2/8/08, I believe. Download, install (if you have figured out how on your Mac) and enjoy your AOL.

Oh, by the way...AOL SUCKS, especially email.

And I doubt that you have been using computers very long.

MAC is not a computer.
AOL is teh suxors.(as stated)
"Floopy" drives are never used at all anymore. Use a CD(Compact Disk) in your MB(Macbook) or tell your friend where they can DL(download) the AOL(teh suxors) link.

I tried to put a floopy in the slot on the side of my iMac because tehre isnt any other place for one to go... Macs suck becuase it turns out they dont' even work with floppy discs. how will I install photoshop 5?

It was a preemptive response to Butthawks request for a ssn. Both of his other threads, he asks for someone's ssn. The number I provided is a random group of numbers.
