Yeah, for us Yanks, it's another contrived monday off for government workers, and another excuse for retailers to promote sales.

So, anybody off today? Celebrating? Giving the slightest damn?

And who do you like better, George or Abe? (yeah, I know Erik, no threads about other members)

I'm working

I suppose that's better then shopping, i.e., making money instead of spending it. I suppose though if I really want to spend it, I could pop over to apple.com

What did George Washington say to his men before they crossed the Delaware?

I'm off. I haven't thought much further ahead than that, though.

No big deal for me to work today, I just looked out the window and its pouring (here in boston). Its not like I'm wanting to go out in torrential downpours or anything.

I'm off today, mulling over what I'm going to do.

...probably catch up on the sleep I haven't gotten in the last few months.

I'm off today. No plans other than playing some COD4 on PS3 and maybe watching a movie or two.

I can't believe so many of you are off. Most people I know are not. My kids are out of school, however.

I can't decide whether to "smoke" a cigar or invade a foreign country.

Working for a city government has its perks on occasion.

Neither off nor doing anything particularly celebratory.

I'm off! (work for a bank) I just finished watching "Rounders". It was the first time I ever saw it and it was awesome! IDK what to do for the rest of the day.

I'm off today, but it doesn't have anything to do with President's Day. Also, I have the Flu so I don't care much about being off from work.

I had a great freakin' day. Went to bed at 7am, got up at 2pm, killed some chumps from here in Halo, enjoyed some History channel on U.S. Presidents, lounged around. Refreshing.
