I know it's still wednesday where most of you are... but its full fledged thursday here already... and even though I have to wait like 14 more hours before the sdk is released i'm about to have a freak out attack....

here's to hoping:

someone writes an english-chinese chinese-english dictionary with character recognition.

someone ports a good bible software - bible desktop would work nicely...

there are good rediculous games my wife can play when she gets bored and i dont mind handing the phone over (trism anyone? sudoku?)

oh.... and copy and paste (i know that will have to be apple's doing but still)...
software is always like a good present... but better often when they're free...

HAPPY SDK DAY EVERYONE! we've been waiting a long time! - it feels like the holidays.

If what I'm working on is easily portable to the SDK, I'll cry tears of happiness.

Wednesday, pfft. It's closer to Friday than it is Wednesday!

Having the SDK available a long time before the iPhone is officially available here makes it less interesting .

we're looking at hours now... hours!!! oh man oh man oh man oh man....

although, there is something i miss about my pre-apple days and not being completely unable to sleep from excitement at the frequent releases...

i'll take the lack of sleep for the love that is my computer and what will hopefully be a beautiful sdk eh?

This would indeed be grand.

iPhone ( + iPod Touch, please)-version of Wen Lin would be just spiffy, though perhaps hardly realistic to hope for.

I'm not expecting to see an actual SDK for months.

There will probably be a new version of iTunes (7.7?) for the apps people put up?

I am overjoyed, but I have to agree with Wiskedjak.

We're not there yet - or are we? Is there a small chance that Steve will pull something out of his ---?

Stay tuned.

Hopefully it doesn't break the iPhone/Touch like 7.6 broke the aTV / Airtunes.

It needs to be a three letter word, like "hat" or "dog".

Or the way 7.6 was broken in general for people with video in their libraries

What was that one? I've got video in my library, and haven't had any troubles there yet.

Apple's efforts with iTunes of late have really been causing me to question the stability of their software.

7.6.1 fixed it. Epic thread on Apple discussion forums. If you had mpeg videos in your libraries (i.e. music videos) you would beachball for nearly everything you did. 7.6.1 has some other issues, but it works for me.

7.6 broke AirTunes?

Or only when used in combination with the AppleTV?

I haven’t had any issues with AirTunes, at least...

Hey so ummmm that SDK its pretty cool. Everyone got pretty much everything they wanted and much more. The only catch is you have to pay $100 a year to release your software, because you can only download/install through apple.
