The best season of my all time favorite show is finally out on DVD.
After such a long time since season I came out on DVD everything I had seen was that season II might never be released, today is a very happy day for me.
Dagwood was always my favorite.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Roy Schneider's passing.

Eh, what? Wasn't season two where the show went to sh*t? I only remember the show having two seasons so if there was a third, I'm wrong.

I think the way it worked from my memory is season 1 sucked balls except for 1 episode at the end with Aliens and the seaquest blew up so for season 2 they retooled it with that big bald guy and the new Seaquest and bridge/sets and more alien(ish) theme. Then at the end of season 2 they cliffhangered with seaquest on another planet cuz the writers were planing on opening up new possibilities on another planet, then they came back with season 3 but they changed their mind about the other planet and quickly brought them back to earth in the first hour. Then I think that was the end of the show sometime in season 3.
Buy ya, it could have been cool but it sucked. Like Earth 2.

No no no, the show went to sh*t with the pilot episode. It was horrible, and the show only got worse from there.

The premise of the show was always pretty lame, IMO, but I appreciated Season 1's attempt to be at least somewhat realistic. I definitely lost interest in Season 2.

One reason why I liked SeaQuest a bit was because it was fun to call it by the name SyQuest instead. I don't think I saw more than a few episodes from the first season though.

Ah, 90's Sci Fi shows by NBC. So many failures...

The first season wasn't terrible, just OK. The plotlines were often OK, but their execution left something to be desired.
I thought the second season's scifi storylines sucked ass, and they didn't execute them any better either.
Season 3's initial episode reminded me of Dallas's "It was all a dream", and it was too late for the series by then anyway.

I kept expecting Lt. O'Neil to break out into a Joxer the Mighty song.
Never got into that show.

I remember hearing that Roy S. was walking around on the set reading the script saying "this is crap, this is crap" during the second season which really demoralized everyone.
