Well, it rained for the First Time since August 6th, 2007. It was pretty intense. Rained hard for about three hours then it turned to snow of course. It was really awesome. I haven't seen rain in Colorado for forever, I only ever see it when I'm in teh Palace of Rain in Seattle. I almost forgot that it rained in this section of the world. A wild guess would make me assume that it's going to be a very dry summer with the typical 900% increase (I'm not joking, last year our water rates increased 800% from May to August) in utility bills. Anybody anywhere else having a really dry spring? I don't remember it ever being so dry here.

Its Spring? I wouldn't know here in Oregon. Still wet and cold.

If Seattle is the Palace of Rain, Portland is the Castle of Precipitation.

We've been getting a rainstorm every three days. Of course this is to be expected during spring on the Cape.

We've had two days of hard rain and numerous flood warnings (South Central Kentucky).

Yeah, it's really nice today here now, a bit windy though. I hope to get my motorcycle permit soon (my dad has a Buell Ulysses XB12 that he'll let me ride) so I can get out on the open road.

Yeah that's what my dad did. He said it was very worthwile, so I plan on taking it. Unfortunetly the only one that currently fits my schedule is down in Pueblo and I hate Pueblo.

imitchell, where in CO are you? Those mountains make a serious difference in where rain falls, and we have had some "interesting" winds over the continent for the last couple of weeks.

I'm in Colorado Springs, about 6 miles directly south of the Air Force Academy.

Man, I'm visiting Colorado Springs and Denver this week. Hopefully my flight does not get delayed due to heavy rain.

Yep, the "dry" side of the mountains. Except when a monsoon-like wind shows up with the right amount of moisture. I'll bet the wildflowers are awesome this year.
