I saw an ad for America’s Got Talent that was most decidedly not awesome, yet it had David Hasselhoff in it.

Hmm...I don't think I would have thought the show was funny (never saw it), but I remember seeing "America's Got Talent" commercials that were certainly (unintentionally) humorous, if only because of the irony in the idea that David Hasselhoff would be judging the talent of others.
