Looks kind of interesting... For some reason it reminded me of this little handheld internet thing I had when I was younger. I can't remember the name of it and its pissing me off. I remember getting it for xmas one year but returning it soon after because our internet at our house sucked and this was pre-wireless internet. You hooked the device to your computer and downloaded games to it. It was a huge flop. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm guessing it came out anywhere from 1996-99.

My coworkers bought three and returned them all in a week or two. The thing sucks in ways you didn't realize were possible, in addition to the obvious suck vectors.

I want one desperately, but I'm trying to hold out until they don't need to be constantly plugged in. I was even tempted to get one and hack the 9v lead in the back.
What suckage did they experience other than having to keep the bastard plugged-in?

interesting concept but it doesn't look like a sustainable product. Personally I see little need or desire to have one. To be sure there's the geek factor but after that wears off there's little utility use to product

- No battery
- $180
Why not just get a PDA? Same cost, more features, has a battery.

The alarm clock failed to... alarm.
The touchscreen sucks.
The night mode on the LCD randomly turns on and off. All night long.
For $20 it would be neat, but it doesn't justify the $180 price tag.

I have to admit, that is indeed an unexpected suck vector.
