I'll do my good deed for the day and make a Public Service Announcement.

If you get an "EcoDisc" DVD like the PG Tips Monkey "A Tale Of Two Continents" DVD in the UK or a newspaper freebie, DON'T put it in your slot loading drive! It will get stuck when you try to eject it. I've just had a mad half hour of pressing eject with the Macbook at all angles, trying to get the *&%&%* thing out.

So if you have done it, what to do? I found this site with a bit of googling Put the Apple notebook upside down and slap it! « QOMPUTE

it sounds strange, but it does work, hold the computer upside down (you don't need to rest it on a table) press eject and slap the back of it lightly. If its an iMac it would go screen down I suppose, and a Mac mini upside down.

Eco Discs are thinner than standard DVD's and a lot more bendy. Be careful out there, this is the end of today's Public Service Announcement. That site just saved me a trip to an Apple dealer for a repair!

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

I would think the'd be a big concern, I know the amount of CD's I throw away when I screw up burning them is big (imo). I suppose always buying CD-RW's and DVD-RW's would be a better idea.
Signature depreciated.

No, misplaced apostrophes are.

Maybe it's time for a hard drive upgrade if you are digging around in your MacBook or MacBook Pro for the CD.
