does anyone know of any actually decent free hosting options? I know wordpress.com but you have to pay for domain mapping... i've got the domain...
anyone have any ideas? i know free hosting is generally not a good option, but i'm curious of ya'll know something i dont.

There is no decent free host out there I know of. Hosting companies have to buy hardware. That ain't cheap and needs to be paid for somehow. Pay up and be happy.

Hardware is not the only issue. Bandwidth costs lots of money, especially if you have people hosting all kinds of warez and mp3s.

Also staffing, proper security, application development, sales/marketing, etc. Nothing is free.
