I want to be able to relay an SMS received on my phone to a group of people. It doesn't necessarily have to be a phone but some number that can receive SMS and send it on to say 20 people at the office. I've looked at a couple programs that might be able to do it but I think they'll be slow since they'll send one SMS at a time. Do any of you know of any other options?

Your phone can't do forwarding on its own?

Just set up an email account that forwards to variousnumbers@teleflip.com?

I have the iPhone, I don't think it'll automatically forward SMS messages?

I want to be able to text one number and have that distribute the SMS to a group; basically I'm trying to create a group chat via SMS.

Searching google for SMS Group Chat comes up with a lot of companies that look like they'll work for me. I'm still open to ideas if any of you have done this before.

I mean, set up a separate email account, say a gmail or somesuch; have it forward messages to
5051239876@teleflip.com
5059871234@teleflip.com
etc.

Then just send your SMS to that email account.

Okay, I see what your were saying. I also checked out Chatterous.com and it's pretty cool as well but you have to precede each message with CHTR GROUPNAME so it's a little clunky. radiohandi.com looks cool as well but I can't get it to register a new account, I think something is wrong with their system.
