WTF? Some people lined up, so other lined up too, and so on, and so on...

MacNN | Line forms at Fifth Ave Apple Store in NYC

It remains unclear as to why the line formed, as Apple does not have any special events planned for today, nor does it have any announced product launches scheduled during the next week. Some participants in the line are said to have been confused as to why they were there, while a few claimed to be waiting for a 3G iPhone, even though it is only expected to be revealed at WWDC on June 9th, and shipped later that month.

Just make sure you get the hell out of there fast if you hear someone say "Oh No!"

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Sounds like one of those street improvisation deals (or whatever they're called). A funny one, too.

Burrito Day at Fifth Avenue is always a popular draw. But there are some negatives associated with it.

It seems to be a common thing to say "Look! A queue/line! Let's get in it!" Not "I wonder what that line is for" or "what are those freaks queued up for?" but "Let's get in line!" It's even a cruise director's joke because this happens so frequently on cruises.

Teehee, know what you mean. I was at the duty free store in Keflavik yesterday. The store listed their prices in dollars and I almost blacked out when I saw the price of an item I was planning to buy. Took me a couple of seconds to remember that now I can get practically free US dollars for my euros.

Actually, I think it'd be funny if someone went up to this line with a loud boombox and started playing the background music from the game. See how long it takes them to figure it out...

I remember reading somewhere that once upon a time, an American journalist in the former Soviet Union noticed long lines everywhere. So one day he just stood in front of a random doorway, and within an hour there where a hundred people lined up behind him. Don't know if it's true, but having visited the Soviet Union, it certainly seems within the realm of possibility. The lines were long and indeed often baffling.

Not gonna happen. Sony owns Lemmings. It came as part of the Psygnosis buyout in 1993.

Lemmings is available for the PlayStation 3.
