Director Sydney Pollack dies of cancer - CNN.com

This kind of shocked me, as I didn't know he had cancer. Just saw Michael Clayton the other day...I didn't think it would be Sidney's last appearance on the big screen. He was an amazingly talented director and actor.

Edit: Mods, please correct my spelling in the title. I didn't realize I had spelled Sydney with an "i" until it was too late.

I loved Sydney Pollack, both as an actor and a director.

Michael Clayton, wonderful as it was, is unfortunately not his last movie, Made of Honor is.
