My uncle has proposed a project for me. He wants a common letter typed up, in which he can change the customers name whenever he wants. For example; the body of the letter would be the same, but the head could be changed easily. Now I don't see a problem with this, except he has like 400 customers and wants them all printed up. What would be the easiest way to go about this? I am meeting him in a couple hours, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

^^ To further elaborate.

Any decent word processor should be able to handle mail merging. The question is if whatever program the list of addresses is in can talk seamlessly with said word processor.

I bet you it can. Ask him what format the address list is in and what word processor he is using.

I am not sure if he has a list typed up yet. I know he is using MS Word on his PC. Any idea of that uses Mail Merge. And will that automatically print up the letters with the names. Thanks again very much for the quick responses!

He hasn't typed up a list yet, so what format should I make it in so I would be able to use Mail Merge with MS Word? Thanks again!

Thanks for the link Peeb! I know he has to have either Excel or Access on his PC so that should be fine. Again thanks for the help!
