While they could just be using the location and not opening up shop in Canada, I saw a notice outside my building that Vodafone will be filming a commercial beside the building, the hockey stadium and the subway in this area. Apparently, some "loud" bangs or something like that are expected...

Either they are sing us for a film location or maybe coming to Canada...

Maybe it has something to do with Canada hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend… Vodafone is the title sponsor of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 Team…

I'm guessing that they aren't coming to Canada. If they did, it would be as Big Corporate Brother Verizon.
