[Hawkeye_a]

This album just felt unique to me. I love all of Jack Johnson's prior albums and this one just seemed kinda different at first. Right off the bat you'll notice it's higher production value (ie less of that unique indie-acoustic feel).

During the first playthrough i got some weird vibes.... there was melancholy and a little bitterness... sorta seemed like he had broken up or something like that. But after a couple of playthroughs, it's grown on me and it's definitely Jack Johnson (style)

With summer upon us(in the Northern Hemisphere) if your going on a road trip, heading to the ocean or the lake..... pop this one in.... it's a good surfie album.



The one thing i got out of this album was how much i miss the surf
