I just got into pipe smoking a couple months back. I just got a corncob pipe and a bag of aromatic tobacco to see if I liked it at all. It was a bit frustrating at first but I'm figuring out how to pack it correctly, and it's growing on me. What kind of pipe do you have? What kinds of tobacco do you prefer?

I used to have many... long stems, short, curved and not. but i gave them away years ago when i moved away. Today I smoked an el-cheapo corn cob... you'll find if you spend 15-45 bucks on a decent wooden pipe that there is no comparison on how well it smokes.
I suggest a short stemmed wooden with a decently large bowl and thick wood around it.
but you'll like ANY pipe better than your corn cob... and feel free to mess with how tight and loose you pack it... it makes a big difference (sometimes I prefer tight because it lasts longer and has a harder draw and thicker smoke, and sometimes I want loose, for thinner smoke and a shorter smoke time).
stay away from marachino tho... they're just for looks.

Thankfully I've never gotten into twittering. I change my status on Facebook sometimes, but never on my phone (well not since I stopped using the Berry and moved to an iPhone with no data.)
