No, not desktop search. Desk. I did an 'NN search for this, but couldn't find anything relevant.

My co-worker and I are moving to a larger office upstairs, and we're looking for nice, modern-looking L-shaped desks (or combos) that aren't too incredibly expensive.

I'm also open to new ideas. If you guys have a desk that you absolutely love, let me know!

People seem to love the ikea ones as they are cheap, pretty and rather well made for the price you pay. I like mine and it only cost $150ish.

IKEA was the first place I checked. I liked this one in white, but it's just not quite enough space, I don't think.

Which one do you have?

You know, I've thought about the white Fredrick with this drawer unit and this bookcase, all in white. Do you think this blocky style would clash with the desk?

Thanks for the help, BTW!

Galant series is awesome, huge deskspace and expandability.
I have one, check my flickr.

Here's someone's with the corner and long extensions:

Everything looks great. I don't mind putting stuff together (actually, the Galant series gets me excited just because it feels a bit like LEGO for adults). I guess now I'm just going to have to decide what I want and/or need out of this.

Thanks, you guys. I'll post some pictures when the office is done. I think it's going to look really, really nice.
