I can't tell if she's joyously yelling or about to eat the bugger whole.

Edit: Pretty disturbing that the thing is mimicking her, though

This thread should lead to an energetic debate about the merits of such animals.

Anyone have an opinion?

Well, I've had nothing but good experiences with Pitbulls. Large women, on the other hand...

She said she was attached to Booger because he saved her life when she was severely attacked by a dog three times his size.
Does anyone read anything into this statement?

You know, just last week I was pondering the joys of technology... ...which led to a rather serious question.

With all this cloning, gene splicing and all that jazz going on, can't they actually do something useful with this technology? Like create a dog which doesn't crap on my lawn?

Oh. And I don't fancy yours much.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

I'm not fond of pitbulls so much, although to their credit I've been around quite a few in my time and have never been mauled.

My friend's rottweiler used to bite my butt cheek or achilles tendon area when he was mad about something which pretty frequently. When he'd go for the achilles it'd remind me of Pet Semetary when Gage used a scalpel to cut the old guy's achilles tendon and I'd get all freaked out.

Just sayin'.

I think getting FIVE copies of any "beloved pet" will be way too much for anyone to handle. A lot of dogs require LOTS of attention when they're young so that they start out with the right form of discipline and good behavior. The "bad pit bull" issue we've heard of most often comes from idiots that want "a dog to protect me" or worse, "a fighting dog," and these idiots wind up turning otherwise really smart, really dedicated dogs into vicious and dangerous animals. They didn't start that way. NO dog starts out dangerous. But people make them that way, through training (or lack of training), and bad treatment.

That puppy has every chance to grow up to be a very affectionate and dedicated pet. If the (ummmm) lady in the picture takes the time and effort needed, he'll do just that.

Damn, it keeps getting better and better!

She and a male accomplice were accused of abducting the 21-year-old missionary as he went door to door, taking him to a rented 17th-century "honeymoon cottage" in Devon and chaining him spread-eagled to a bed with several pairs of mink-lined handcuffs.

There, investigators say, he was repeatedly forced to have sex with McKinney before he was able to escape and notify police.

This is the life story that just keeps on giving.

Press reports at the time that said the pair then jumped bail, posing as deaf-mute actors in Ireland to board an Air Canada flight to Toronto and eventually a bus to Cleveland, where investigators lost their trail.
This is my favorite line of the entire story.

That was part of the "back story." I think she's pretty much "confined" at the moment... I could be wrong though...
