Have any of you been watching the gymnastic competitions in the Olympics? As you would know if you were watching, there is a requirement that the participants be 16 years of age during the calendar year of the Olympics.

Now, as many of the reporters have expressed, some of the girls on the Chinese team do not appear to be 16. In fact, some of them look to me to be 11 or 12. Obviously, the Chinese Party insists that they are all of legal age, but I doubt this. What are your thoughts?

Is he competing in the gymnastic events? No? So how is that relevant?

Dog meat diet.

That girl could be 16, but who knows. Just because she's petite doesn't mean she's necessarily underage and her lack of obvious *ahem* womanhood, if that's what you're getting at, could easily be due to a combination of genetics and the fact that she's probably been training intensely for the last 8 years of her short and physically impressionable life.

its not uncommon for gymnasts to have diets and take "supplements" that suppress full on puberty.

Either way the case won't get very far. If they are underage China will doctor up the papers they need saying otherwise and the IOC was bought off long long ago.

The Chinese are no strangers to age controversy. One of last year's NBA Lottery picks, Yi Jianlian, had a lot of uncertainty regarding whether he was 23, as some reports said, or 19, the oldest he could be and still play in the Chinese league he had been playing in.

Someone might be cheating at the Olympics? No! Next thing you'll tell me some American athletes have used performance-enhancing drugs!
