Found this site: Face Your Manga. Lets you create an avatar. Made one for myself and my partner. Mine turned out to be exceptionally close to the real thing. My partner's is good but not quite as exact. Give it a whirl if you have a few minutes to kill. It's kinda fun.

Part of the allure. there's also a place to clip my leash, so it's a dual function leash clip and daily accessory.

Nice. Do you have to clean up after yourself when on the leash?

Depends on the day. Saturday? Yes. Thursday morning? Nah.

After all, Sundays and Wednesdays are shave days.

Also, I'm really glad they had huge eyebrows.
Amen.

A good story? I've got a million of 'em!

I answered the iron.
My mom's OB was Dr. Scissorhands.
The dingo took my ear.
Ill fated attempt at attaching my toupee with a hot glue gun.
There were actually two "boys who lived." Unfortunately, one of us didn't end up with a media-friendly lightning bolt scar.
The Taliban caught me listening to pirated MP3s.
I ran into Gollum while trying to dispose of the "One Earring to Rule Them All."
Got in to a slap fight with Liberace.
I had a supporting role in my 4th grade class' production of "The William Tell Story."
If Caesar says he just wants to "borrow" something, don't buy it.
Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball™. Seriously.
There is no practical limit to what I would do for a Klondike bar.

And it just keeps going folks!

Yeah, how's that working out for you. 2 is probably the one that will appeal to you most, unless you're more fond of electronic stuff than I realize. (See my library stats to know what the best stuff is)

Oh, you'll find some Death Cab in my Last.fm history for sure. I thought you meant it as a bit of a barb.

Was a call back.

I did look him up though, and I've been listening to his stuff a bit. The more I listen to modern music, the more I'm drawn to soundtracks (game soundtracks count).

On that note, John Williams is the Mozart of our time.

Modern Music?

He can be surprsingly versatile, though some of his best-known work reflects Holst.

On a completely random note, I was watching some crappy movie he scored a few months ago, and was shocked to find one of the pieces sounded like an early draft of Across the Stars.

Edit: Cross-referencing my memory vs. imdb leads me to believe it was Hook.

On that note, any way I can get last.fm to stop recognizing my video podcasts as songs?

Modern Music?
Modern pop music. 99% of it's garbage. Rap makes me want to burn some popcorn in my office and wallow in it, just to feel a little better.

If you listen to one of his best-of albums and attempt to detach yourself from the associated movies, you quickly realize just how infectious and timeless those pieces are.

John Williams has several pieces, in both older and newer movies, that sound like Across the Stars. Across the Stars is probably my favorite theme from the prequels.
