how about the one where he threatened to sue me for defamation of character after i mentioned that i knew he'd fooled around with an underage girl?

or the one where he fabricated a story of an explosion in the newlyweds-and-nearlydeads (cody's area) section of florida?

or the foreign agent nonsense?

or...

or...

wow, i know way too much about this character.

Probably one of the only people on MacNN who really, actually, scared me.

This is lame. And will probably be locked.

…true, but having just utterly wasted my time reading a bit of the weeds thread, ghporter's honest, sincere and steadfast refusal to admit that anyone was talking about anything more than great lawn control is absolutely hilarious, and deserves a standing bravo.

This one was the best one ever:

Anna Benson and new Orioles pitching hubby, Kris, want to "CHRISTEN" every city?

Total disintegration.

The culmination of aberdeenwriter (and of Cody Dawg, for that matter) IMO.

One of my personal favorites from recent times.

I think some of his best work was under the Mojo2 nick.

I was always impressed with how he could write so much about so little...

What are some of the best Mojo2 threads, perhaps threads that happened before my time?

Yeah. I got sucked in by pol right at the end of Mojo's dynasty.

What little I read gave me the impression that Mojo was a bit more out there than some of his other nicks.

Well, I'd be happier with the real deal.

He's behaved for a long time. Let him back in, tell him he's on probation (i.e. he should expect harsher treatment for infractions than an average user) and see what happens.

Worst case scenario is we end up where we are now.

I always suspected that he was being paid by the word to publish propaganda on various special-interest topics.

Why would you poison a gig like that by breaking the rules all the time?

I also always got a kick out of Abe insisting that Abe, Aberdeenwriter, and Mojo2 were different people even though they acted exactly the same way. I always envisioned Abe with one of those fake nose and mustaches on, or thought of how funny it was that nobody was ever able to figure out that Clark Kent and Superman were the same person despite the fact that the extent of Clark Kent's disguise was simply glasses!

I think there actually were multiple people using the Abe, Aberdeenwriter, and Mojo2 accounts. There were times when there were obviously different voices coming out of Abe's mouth, almost like Junior Aberdeenwriters. Also fed my theory that 'Abe' was a job more than a person.

Really? Do you have any examples of that? Either from your recollection or from an actual thread archive?

Maybe there was one Abe that had a multiple personality disorder or something?

I thought the only one that claimed to be different was marden.

At the least, I thought Abe made no effort to challenge the notion that Aberdeenwriter was the same individual, and vice versa.

Edit: I had written the second paragraph to say the exact opposite of what I meant. Fixed now.

Oh yeah, how could I forget about marden? I guess Abe retired Aberdeenwriter a long time ago, Mojo2 followed, and he mostly juggled between marden and abe before his leaving this forum...

Exactly why did abe/marden leave this forum anyway?

I think marden was permabanned, and Abe was pol lounge banned, which started a slow descent of his number of posts until they stopped entirely... I think like 6 months ago.

If you recall, whenever people would try and press his buttons, he would respond with a pic from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and say that the mods sedated him.

Here's another thread:

This "SERMON SEASON" of South Park Sux Azz

Not so much a thread in the style of the others, but his analysis, only one or two episodes into the season, was spot on.

The man knows his TV.

Edit: and I still get a chuckle from the phrasing "Sux Azz".

No idea.

All I get from a quick scan is rabid Nintendo fanboy.

Looks like he would get into it with Analogue Sprinkles (nee SWG).
