So I race to the hospital with my pregnant wife who's water just broke. We get into our room and they hook her up to the fetal monitor to make sure the baby is ok while they prep for the labor.

Not 10 minutes into the monitoring, Windows bombs with an application error.

The moral to the story? When your baby's life hangs in the balance, get a Mac.

Meanwhile, I'm a DAD! Here's my son Cole:

Despite Windows, he was born a healthy 8lbs 12oz. Hehe.

Congrats on the new baby! That's awesome!

Don't fret too much about those monitors. They are always doing something weird, false alerts, errors, etc. Good thing the medical staff knows what they are doing. :-)

Congrats! Being a dad is lots of fun.

(What did your wife say when she noticed that the computer had crashed, and you were busy taking a picture of it? Did you tell the nurses "Don't reboot this just yet.... I am so totally going to psot this on teh 'NN!" Since it seems like that happened early in labor, she probably wasn't ready to tear your head off yet.)

That's an app error, not an OS error... you know Mac apps crash too?
