Check out the Wall Street Journal. Apple just hired a Yale bigwig to start Apple University. I'm not sure what that means exactly but I presume it will be for Apple employees and possibly some outside developers. Good to see Apple putting some of that $25 billion cash to good use.
I can't post the link because the iPhone has no copy/paste.

I heard the food sucks, and the girls are totally butch. Safety school, IMO.

I thought the food on the Apple campus was great, cooks from the region the food is from, fresh stuff (although I've eaten there only once).

Pretty good pizza, too. They also have relatively cheap sushi. It's funny that they charge for it. I know Google, Yahoo, and Cisco have free cafeterias for people. And yes, Steve Jobs eats in the cafeteria. We actually saw him at our Apple training.

P.S. Here it is on Bloomberg:
Apple Inc. hired the dean of the Yale School of Management to lead a new project called ``Apple University.''
Joel Podolny will serve as vice president and dean of Apple University, company spokesman Steve Dowling said today in an interview. He declined to provide details about Apple University, describing it only as an ``exciting new project.''
Podolny, 43, will leave Nov. 1 to lead Apple's educational initiatives, Yale President Richard Levin said in a letter posted on the university's Web site. Podolny joined Yale in 2005. He was previously a professor at Harvard Business School and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
``I obviously wish that the call from Apple had come later in my tenure, but we can't always control the timing around such things,'' Podolny wrote in a message to colleagues. ``I am excited to know that I will be joining an organization for which I have so much respect and enthusiasm.''

My guess is they're going to create something like GE's Crotonville.

Apple prefers growth to dividends.
