I figured I could go to you guys for some quick help.

Does anyone here have a story, joke, etc. that centers around the dangers of comparing yourself to others? I need something either humorous or thoughtful. People usually have stories laying dormant in their memories, so I thought I'd tap into that today.

I have a bunch of "Yo Mama" jokes, but that's about it.

I used to idolize my brother and always try to live up to his accomplishments. I would always internally compare my education and job to his.

Now he is 39, alcoholic, married and divorced within months, has two kids, different mothers, no relationship, applying for food stamps, unemployed, essentially homeless as he is living with mom and dad.

This is a story comparing people, very commonly heard. Also risky to the participants, since someone is going to get stuck with the consequences.

I don't have a specific story to contribute, but this may help as a memory prompt.
