Does anyone else feel that there is alot less hype around Macworld this year? Last year's was just insane before the actual event, this year seems tame - to me anyway.

You should see if there are any Macintosh User Groups in your area. They're fun to go to, trade & buy software and hardware, get troubleshooting tips, etc. Some of them have ACTs that'll offer free labor on repairs.

Also, many of them will have parties on or around Macworld at various locations.

It's kinda funny because the news outlets were running stories about what the Mac faithful were going to do without a Macworld. Well, they'd do what they did before there were Macworlds, meet up with friends, have a party, and talk about Mac stuff.
