second year I'm attending... had the company spring for the Platinum Pass this year because I waited for the keynote since 2am last year and almost missed getting into the main hall. And wouldn't you believe my luck, this is the year Steve isn't doing the keynote. Oh well...
I'll be getting to the line around 5am this time I think...

Really? I entered the line at 4am last year and got into the main hall with no problem. I picked up my badge tonight just before 8pm and there were 10 people waiting in line for the keynote already.

I'm directly across from the metreon in the platinum pass line. Five from the back... But only 40 from the front and I got in line at 5:40! (the exclamation point isn't happiness, it's to signify I'm a nerd.)
