I'm pretty sure "bidness" is black vernacular English, so I'm trying to figure out what it has to do with rednecks.

Also, it's a real bank. Unfortunately. Probably popular in Arkansas, Alabama, or Ohio.

If you think about it, the actions of AIG and Madoff are about 500 times worse than anything a "redneck" could conceive of. Look at Madoff who swindled charities, some of his friends, old people's retirement funds and etc. for like two decades almost.

If so, I've learned something. I assumed it was more universal than that.

Also, it's a real bank. Unfortunately.
Yeah, my personal intarnets scam detector felt it was a real bank, but I still thought it could be a (very well done) joke. Mind you, I have an ING Direct account, and when they first started, their website seemed a lot less serious than the other banks. But it was nothing like Redneck Bank® of course.

Probably popular in Arkansas, Alabama, or Ohio.
If you're looking to join one of the best banks in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas or Tennessee you've come to the right place.

Redneck Bank® is the Internet Banking Division of Bank of the Wichitas®, a well-respected "country" bank established in 1913, and is insured by the FDIC, like all legitimate banks!

Except that it turns Redneck Bank is just a marketing ploy by a larger bank.

I knew Arkansas was in there someplace.

I went to the login page (no, not because I have an account) and it did go to an https page but it didn't give me a certificate. Anyone else getting the same thing?

That bank is awesome...it's a pretty clever way to get customers.

And, yeah - the login page goes to HTTPS, but Firefox doesn't indicate that it has any SSL cert attached.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...
