Time Machine to a MyBook 500GB drive. Saved my ass twice so far.

That cartoon was as much of a reminder to me as anything else, so I shared it. Right now I'm working out which drive to put in my enclosure to back up my iMac...because I haven't done that in way too long.

Ummm. *cough*

If you need a reminder to remind you to back up, you're not doing it properly.

Doof knows a girl who didn't back up her crap (despite Doof insisting on it) and lost two years' worth of college work. She had a very busy couple of months after that.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

I've got one of our servers here at work setup to be a network Time Machine service - works pretty well over GigE and made life easy when the HD died in my MBP.

Huh, I had no idea they kept "Shoe" going after Jeff MacNelly died. The papers here don't carry it anymore.
