Life is precious and short, yet many of us expend too much effort concerning ourselves with our reputation, image, and in seeking approval from others. Today I'm going to help free you from these shackles!

Many of the things I write in here are not "funny", are "immature", are "weird", and some would say "lame". However, in actual fact I'm freakin' brilliant and awesome, I'm just further along in my self-liberation than you are, most likely.

My self liberation program looks at your inner child which we all have, and releases him or her to the world. As long as you don't offend or harass anybody (I believe that we as human beings have a responsibility to ourselves and others to be decent people), if you are thinking something dumb, immature, silly, weird, or whatever, just SAY IT. Don't filter, don't self censor, and don't worry about what others may think - it doesn't really matter what they think, does it? You will feel like a free man or woman without these sorts of inhibitions and fear of perception, and this will help increase your confidence. Over time with your increased confidence your salary will increase, and your life will get better in immeasurable ways. You won't have to have sex with that hole in the wall.

So, for example, if you are thinking that it would be interesting or cool to see Patrick Swayze from his Road House days take on a bunch of angry Ewalks with nothing more than a feather duster, SAY IT! If you would like to invite us all to your pants optional tea party, INVITE US! If you would like to compliment and/or thank the Chinese for their oranges, THANK THEM! Whatever comes to mind, weird, not weird, funny, not funny, whatever - just stuff that you would normally feel inhibited to say, and stuff that doesn't offend or harass! If you catch yourself thinking "I don't want to say that, that's dumb and/or not very funny and/or immature and/or silly and/or whatever" acknowledge those feelings, let them go, and force yourself to say it anyway! That's how this works...

Use this thread as an opportunity to introduce us to your inner child. Be fearless, your inner child wants to be free!

It's funny that the only way people can feel liberated is with libations. Why not live life libated, except without the actual libations?

Hey, no threads about members.

I meant the carefreeness of being drunk and uninhibited among friends, not all of the physical problems that go along with being drunk.

We all saw a little bit of besson3c's inner child. Too much, in fact, since we now know his inner child is deathly afraid of Ewoks.

I applaud your self control.

All you missed was besson being besson at his back-patting self.

No, cause you're trying to be clever. Don't try, just write what comes to your mind, and don't filter.

mattyb: I guess you aren't ready for the wisdom of this thread. All I ask is that you don't deny your inner child the space and peace he needs. Let him out, he is yearning for us to see him.

Okay, well I can play elsewhere, but I will never ever put my inner child away, it is against my personal religion I'm trying to spread here. I take it that you guys hate Peter Pan (the story, not the peanut butter)? Also, do you like Peter Pan peanut butter?
