I wonder if the plot will revolve around them busting the ghosts of the people passing in from the old age home they inhabit.

The movie is a transition. They're passing the batons to a new generation of Ghostbusters.

My favorite Rick Moranis movie is the one where he plays a dorky awkward guy.

Ugh.
On second thought, Jason Bateman or Paul Rudd could probably do a pretty good younger Peter Venkman-like character. Hmm...

Sarcasm doesn't translate on the webs very well, does it?

I don't want any more sequels. A trilogy is enough. The team should retire. No need to nuke the fridge.

I saw that film like 8 times in the theater when it came out. I watched the saturday morning cartoon. I actually went and watched scenes from two being filmed (the stroller crossing the street one for example). Everytime I pass that building or the fire station in Tribeca I think of Ghostbusters.
I cringe at what they might do to this. They might as well just get it over with and make a Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson remake that I can at least pretend never existed.

I hope there is a time travel element. That always helps.

LOL!
Just the other day (With absolutely no previous knowledge of this) I was thinking that if there was ever a segual to be made, ghost busters is probably one of the few that they could do justice to without screwing it up....of course only time now will tell.
