Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce Topaz:

My wife and I were walking to the grocery store when she heard a sound. That turned out to be this kitten in a curb drain. It's been off and on rainy here lately, with sudden downpours that could have washed the little thing away. So we rescued her, took her to our vet, and now are finding out how very hungry a five-week-old kitten can be.

Somehow Providence has softened losing our Pixel with another tabby. We are blessed.

Aw it is so cute! I also happen to have a 5-7 week-old kitten that the neighbour wanted to get rid off. Mine also has a voracious appetite. Do you have a name yet? Given that is black, I named my cat Salem ^^

"Her," not "it." She has quite a personality, too.
