There's a little clip of a song played during the opening post-credit scene from an episode of the third season of Gilmore Girls that has yet to be identified by anyone.

I'm really curious to see what song this is, and figured I'd see if anyone here has any ideas about it.

You can download and listen to an MP3 of it here:

Any takers?

Sounds like it's throwaway, written specifically for use in that show. It sounds too crappy production wise to have actually been released by anyone as a proper song - no feel, too quantized. Unless that's the kind of crap which cuts it in the mainstream these days, of course.

Possibly, but transitional music in Gilmore Girls was exclusively, AFAIK, little clips written and recorded by Sam Phillips, along with the occasional shot of the town troubadour (Grant-Lee Phillips) doing one of his own songs.

The rest of the non-classical music in the show was various indie artists, many of which are pretty obscure.
