We've got a glass floor in the CN Tower here in Toronto. Even though I know it's perfectly safe I have a hard time stepping onto it.

I set the camcorder recording, just walked onto the CN Tower glass floor, without looking down, backwards and forwards a few times, then found it easier to walk across looking down, just about made it.
Not very inspiring view down though, through the floor.
Still, very scary.

Astronomy has discovered the schnapps in space. The holiday Inn in Durban has a glass bottomed swimming pool at roof level . The hotel is a C shape, the floor of the pool fills the gap in the centre of the C but about 35 floors up. Diving in requires a certain... commitment!

Sitting on the glass/acrylic of course.
The whole CN Tower is full of very hot adults whenever we go... which is when they open up the stairwell. We sit, cuz after 1800 stairs we're dead tired.
P.S. That day is definitely the day for tourists not to go. Not only is it very crowded, it also stinks like a gym... with inconsiderate idiots like me sitting on the clear floor.

It's been a long time since I've been to the CN tower, but I do recall going to an observation level where you could look DOWN out windows at the pools at the base of the tower. We were there on a fairly calm evening, yet you could see that the tower was swaying in the breeze by quite a bit. THAT particular kind of "looking down" was not a problem for me. It's the "looking down through glass that I'm standing on" that gives me the willies!

There is a part of the floor in the CN tower that’s made of glass, too, so you are standing on the glass you’re looking through (if you can force your feet on to it, that is).
