Let's show Salty our true good natured spirit of MacNN comrade boys, and show him that you don't need coming out as gay to be miserable. Let's share with him our favorite suggestions for being miserable!

Wait I got two points for mine and turtle gets two points for that? This system doesn't seem to be relate to actual levels of humour.

Oh and for the record Besson, I said I was miserable when I was in the closet and planned on staying that way. Then I went to being miserable because I realized I could date and fall in love... but that it turns out most gay guys make star wars guy look like an enjoyable human being!

Good point, his comment actually required some sort of thought be put into it instead of a simple "LOL UR GAY" comment. To be proportional, turtle should have received at least 10 points.

Actually it was more of a play on words on my part. You see he's gay, and he said something and said he ran away, you then said chases. I chose to take that and spin it as you chasing in the romantic/lusty sense instead of chasing in the physical sense. You see people often enjoy when others play on words because it typically requires a keen observation and quick thinking.

And the punchline of your "joke" was "LOL UR GAY." Don't engage me in an argument where the winner will be determined by who the bigger pedant is. You'll not win.

What? Here I was thinking I’d finally managed to play coy enough to get Laminar to chase after me (a lifelong dream, you understand), and now you tell me he’s really chasing after someone called Oisen?

I’m shattered!

I'd offer to pick up the pieces but I'm kinda starting to see this entirely gorgeous and insanely fun guy... he came over last night and we made pasta and then sat around and talked for six and a half hours... he eventually decided he needed to go home half an hour after midnight since we both had to wake up around 7. Things are progressing pretty slowly, he's said he isn't really looking for a relationship so I'm a lil bit confused as to what the heck is going on, but either way even if it stayed like this I almost think i could be happy simply because he's sooo fun to hang out with.

You have a wife? I was always picturing more... a cat, or limited edition batman toy in the original wrapper...

It's funny that you should mention an original edition Batman toy, because I like to get my wife's Mom to pretend that she is Batman. My wife's Grandma thinks it's funny. She also had a cool remedy for my superglue problem that she helped me with.

In case any of you are ever in my predicament and need that remedy, it's pretty simple... A spornn full of peanut butter. I think the oils help weaken the bonds of the glue, much like they do when you get gum in your hair. At any rate, it works a charm. The nuts in the crunchy peanut butter we used were a little uncomfortable though, I would suggest going with the smooth kind.

Well, it would have never happened to Besson if he had a clue, instead of glue.

Can we get back to talking about how great it is that I'm in the early phases of courting a total knock out who really enjoys spending time with me. Perhaps we could even celebrate my recent found talent of avoiding the friend zone!

I knew there was a thread hiding somewhere in this off-topic mess. Just had to trim the fat.

Actually I think I did mention something involving MacNN. I can't remember what it was but I mentioned a discussion we had on the forum once. And he came over again last night we had dinner and hung out and watched Pushing Daisies!

After one's daisy is pushed, would one be considered "deflowered"?

I've gone through a lot of fear, trepidation, and giddiness to get this far in this not quite a relationship, you'd better believe that once it gets to the point where we do wanna connect that way, you'd better believe I won't feel like sharing him!
