Reminds me of one of the skits in Creepshow, sort of. I am curious as to what it is and what purpose it may serve, if any. They did find the feathers and bones of a bird in the goop. A bit odd.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I saw lots of weird stuff like that when I lived up in Barrow, and especially Deadhorse.

They did say in the first article that they considered algae of some form the most likely answer, but it was just unlike any kind of algae ever seen by the locals, and therefore they’d wait till they got the results back. Well, the results came back and it was algae, that’s all.

It's only a matter of time before it absorbs a dolphin, gains its consciousness and begins to wreak havoc as a sentient being.

is it eatable??? No body asks the really important questions.
I've often wondered if there is relativity between the eleven dimensions in the universe and the eleven secret herbs and spices in Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I hear it getting warm enough to uncover the mammoths that were buried in the tundra that was a forest before it got cold.

This.

Oh, and to those who doubt global warming, you're wrong. Thank you.

You mean it's a symbiotic being from other space like in spiderman?

It's rather chilly around here, I was wearing a sweater earlier.

I guess that would make sense. Is there an increase in algae in waters that are already warm?

A decidedly less amount of algae growth could also be a sign of Global Warming. That's the beautiful thing about Global Warming; it fits all possibilities, in all regions, at all times. The really cool thing is that contemporaneous temperature data is indicative of Global Warming, but it's weather to you deniers.

You mean like Spiderman's black costume. Spidey was certainly not from outer space, nor was he symbiotic.

Unless you believe that the real Peter Parker never returned from the first Secret War (that the current PP is actually a clone). It's unlikely, but possible. At Comic-Con in 2005 Stan Lee wouldn't deny the possibility.

/comic geek too

I need to start going to the Con again, it's always such a blast.

It's been a while since I read a comic, but isn't the Scarlet Spider the real PP, or has that been resolved?
