I don't mean the taping, I mean exposing them to an environment where they pick up those kind of moves...

I didn't say he made it up, but you seem to be making a gigantic leap from the kid watching someone dance like that, to imitating them, to something evil or immoral, or dog knows what.

Yes, this kid got this from somewhere or someone, and the parents are f***ed up to let the kid be exposed to that kind of crap.

Once again, Wow! See a kid dancing and your imagination goes into overdrive. Sad, and it says more about you than the kid or his parents.

Stop beating around the bush: do you really believe the kid made it all up w/o outside influence ?

If yes: wow, you're weird
If no: the parents are sick

No, I agree with turtle. He must have picked up those exotic "jive" moves in a strip club. Only way it could have happened. You know with the kid dancing like that he ain't treating his woman right.

Did anyone follow the site link that appears on the video? It goes to a porn site. I'm thinking the kids were coached, and I wonder who the intended audience is.

It looks to me like you guys just watched a veiled porn advertisement. Without realizing it. Featuring kids.

Pretty veiled. It honestly didn't occur to me to investigate the URL. Did you think the kids were dancing pornographically?

While I find it repulsive that a video with children is linking to a porn site, I find nothing wrong with the video itself.

I think he's talking about exposing 2-3 y/o kids to hip-hop ass-slapping-type music/culture. They can do whatever they want, but I don't think it's ideal.

I'm pretty sure that porn/random video website just picked up the video and reposted it on their site, and then someone took it from them and posted it on YouTube. I've seen it elsewhere on the 'net, without the link to that website watermarked on top of it.

You mean the pop ups that almost anybody can put on top of a video on youtube?

Yeah, gee, must be the intended audience.

Note to all: The kid is going to be a dancer. You can click on many of his other videos to see him doing all sorts of dance moves. This is just one of many. He's pretty good, better than me, and he's like 5. His parents obviously noticed his talent and are exposing him to as many kinds of dance as possible.

I assume he was referring to the "Proudly hosted by" message at the beginning of the video.

People are moaning about kids watching music videos? Bet these are the same people that grew up watching Tom and Jerry, Roadrunner and all those harmless cartoons where one character is always thrown off of a cliff, blown up, run over, burnt, etc etc.

Actually, you got it wrong.

It's those people that make their 3 year olds wear two piece bikinis.

He's going to be a dancer? did he decide this when he was 4, or 5?

His moves suck, I could mimic all those seizure movements and I cant even dance.
And I have to go with turtle on this one.

In the 1950s, rock was destroying our youth. In the 1980s it was heavy metal. In the 2000s it's rap.

I think every generation is looking for something to blame when our kids don't turn out to be like us.

Actually, in the 80s and 90s (along with techno and acid) it was rap. In the early 2000s, it still was rap, but nobody called it that anymore.

These days, there is no real "dangerous" musical subculture - it's all about the Internets, now.

I think that the real threat comes from those who use loads of cabling, vintage keyboards and lots of flashing lights.
