Correction: "mainstream" American beer is poorly filtered creek water. There ARE really good American beers out there, they just don't have the multibillion dollar pull of A-B and Miller and (gasp!) Coors. For example, anything from the Spotzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas is both real and remarkable. They have some really great beers, including a Bock, a Hefeweizen, and their Black Lager. They also have one called Kozmos, named after the Spotzl patriarch who came to Texas from the Czech side of Bavaria that is really good. And that's just one brewery-which now sells nationally. There are still microbreweries all over the place that make great, REAL beer.

Only as long as it's just for purposes of maintaining the thread, Bruce. We'll make that Rule #6, eh?

Do you really need to post in every thread? This thread is about monty python, not beer. Do you really think there could be anyone hip enough to own a mac and savvy enough to post on an online forum that isn't aware of the craft beer industry? Or are you such a knowitall that you just can't not post stuff like this?

On topic- Love, love LOOOOOVE python. I grew up with my dad's vinyl. they barely play after all the years of me listening to them.

NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

...Surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our four...no...

Oh Damn, let's start this thread all over Bruce.
Please suggest something to go hear 'cause I'm to lazy to be clever.

Because of the name: Dork, which ends in R and K, the word bark also ends in R and K, bark is found on trees, trees are made of wood, wood burns, witches also burn. Ergo, Dork is a witch.

How's that for reasoning Big Nose!

I don't think I can argue with that logic. I guess that means I'm a witch, and can turn you all into newts!

Why yes, I do think that some Mac owners are cool and hip enough to know about Macs yet not in the know about craft beers. But Shiner isn't "craft beer," it's a regional brewer with national reach. So one could experience something that isn't "Samuel Adams" (nice stuff, but limited) and learn more. Besides, I like boasting about a really nice brewery that I can drive to. And taste samples at. YUM!

And frankly, I've been a Python adict since....well for a very long time. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Sorry for the "on the topic of the thread's title" post though, Bruce.
