I know that Apple won't have a booth at Macworld 2010, though rumors are flying they'll actually be at CES 2010. I wonder if they'll still do the keynote at Macworld.

Nope.

Circa December 16, 2008:
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, will deliver the opening keynote for this year’s Macworld Conference & Expo, and it will be Apple’s last keynote at the show.

Maybe they'll have a "Special Event" around that same time.

Plus the expo is moved to Feb and the exhibit hall is now only Thurs-Sat instead of the usual Tues-Fri.

Ever since the keynote stopped being live-web-streamed (a flaunting of their server prowess), it felt like they did the show out of obligation, not corporative interest.

Yeah, now they do a keynote/press event whenever they feel like it, and they give a few weeks’ notice. Wouldn’t surprise me if they came up with a reason for an event early next year, but there’s no reason to think it’ll be in the first 2 weeks of January any more.
