What's the name of this Indian dish?

Up near Dartmouth College there's an Indian Restaurant called India Queen, and they serve a dish that has chicken and a choice of either apples, pears, or pineapple.

I don't live up that way anymore and I have a craving for it. I can't remember exactly what it's called, the best my brain can recall is "Furg-e-melah" but putting that and various spellings in Google returns no results.

I want to find the recipe and make it at home. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

OK, I solved 1/2 of this mystery on my own,that being the correct name:

Murg-E-Falahari (I was kinda close) .

Oddly enough, now I can't find a recipe for it. If anyone know what's in it and how you prepare it I be very greatful for the assistance.

Well find me the recipe and I'll have you over for Dinner. I'm planning on making Naan and jasmine rice to go with it.

I think it translates as chicken with fruit, I bet this is made up my the local chef, so unlikely to be anywhere else with the same name.
Most restaurant curries have similar bases so if you can remember the colour and texture (sliced onions or finely chopped etc.) it should be easy to modify another recipe.

I used to have a fantastic curry in London called which was like a Chicken Kashmiri but had banana, coconut pieces and lychees in it, sounds gross but was brilliant.

What reminded me of this dish was a pumpkin soup that I recently had that cranberries in it, just like this curry I want to make, it was savory with bits of sweetness.

Both are a golden colo(u)r...........

HOLY COW (Possible pun possibly intended)! I KNOW HOW I'M GOING TO MAKE MY VERSION!

OK, so I'm a little late in revealing the results of my attempt at Indian Cuisine. So, how'd it turn out and what did I do?

Well to Find out you'll need:

1 Can pumpkin (With nothing added to it).
1 Can chicken stock
2 Tablespoons (This is minimum add more to you liking) of your favorite Curry powder blend
1 Tablespoon Nutmeg
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
2 baking apples (cored and diced)
3 skinless/boneless chicken breasts (Cut into cubes)
1 small onion (diced)
1.Tablespoon Salted Butter
1/2 cup dried/sweetened cranberries (optional)
1/2 cup pistachios (optional)
1 cup dried Balsamti Rice.
1 packed frozen pea and diced carrots.

Directions:

Start by making rice according to package directions (Usually a 20 min soak and then 15 mins cooking.)

poke a few holes in veg bag and cook in Microwave for 2 mins.

In large work bowl, combine pumpkin, chicken stock, apples, cranberries, pistachios and spices mix well and set aside.

In large cooking pot, sweat the onion in butter until soft and translucent.

Add chicken and cook on Medium until cooked.

Add pumpkin/spice mixture, cover and simmer covered for 15 mins until apples are tender. (Check flavor after first 5 mins and add additional spices as you see fit).

Add veggies to rice.

When you feel it's done serve the curry over the rice.
