At lunch today, several of us realized we were 'hobby geeks' with more than 3 hobbies each. As we talked, more folks joined in, and at least half of them had more than 3-4 hobbies, and some had many hobbies. Some are collectors, some build things, some are almost arts (photography etc) and others re-enact! I figured the bunch here, being a cut above may have some really fabulous hobbies.

What are your hobbies?

I am guilty of many hobbies:
Model RR
YouTube - Blue Ridge Climb
Sci-Fi Studio scale models
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
RC Sailboats
RC Airplanes(retired)
Magic(retired)
Pen & Ink drawings(retired)
Raising carnivorous plants(retired)
SPFX Photography and video
High End Audio

The few hobbies I have are travel, reading, and technology - though I have dabbled in coins and foreign currency.
Then there's fast women, faster cars... etc

I spent about $1-3K a year on RC airplanes, but free flight scale (Stick & Tissue) airplanes are pretty cheap.

Sweet what track and car? And do you own your own plane?

I've had the bug to fly recently, but GA is pretty much nonexistant in Colorado, thanks to the altitude.

2003 M3 at Texas World Speedway, Harris Hill Road, Eagle's Canyon, Motorsport Ranch Cresson, etc. Pics from last weekend at TWS.

No, I'm a C172/C182/P28R/AA5 renter. Colorado is tough for GA with the need for a turbo and the awful weather. The T182T I used to rent went down coming out of Aspen.

Awesome time at the track it looks like!

I hope if I move back to Seattle permanently to get into GA... my dad owned a 172 and Piper Apache when I was growing up, but he sold them when we moved here.

Too many to fit into 24 hours a day with a full-time job, and too many of them are too expensive for me to afford if I stopped working and went on the dole.
