Just traded in my 5+ year old 1.5 GHz G4 PowerBook for $550 at PowerMax. Getting a brand new 2.26 GHz Mini for $39 shipped.

In contrast, it would be difficult to give away a 5+ year old PC.

Anyway... happydance for me.

When I had my crazy dual 1.33ghz G4 Quicksilver with all the fixings, I couldn't sell it for $1200 no matter how hard I tried. It had EVERYTHING done to it, and it had a 20" Cinema. So, I took it apart, and listed it piece by piece on ebay. I made $1600 or so. The processor alone went for almost $400. Awesome.

Yeah, and a $3000 paint job will increase the value of your car by $3000.
